MDC Salon Series: Future of Friendship
MDC Salon Series was started in early 2016 to replicate the Parisian salons in the 17th-18th century, where salons were a gathering place for people to refine and increase their knowledge through conversation, under the guidance of an inspiring host.
Our Salon Series is the modern day version that invites an expert panel to discuss the futures that will impact humanity in different aspects.
Some topics covered in past salons were Future of Capital, Future of Democracy, Future of Love, Peace and Understanding and Future of Death. Our past panel consisted of diverse experts bringing different insights into the conversation. There is time set aside for Q&A from the audience to add depth to the conversation. We also wrap up our sessions creatively, by inviting artists-in-residence to summarise the night for us.
