In our fast-paced, forward-facing world, why does the past matter? What value does history have for us? How does a study of the past and the application of historical skills bring value to our community? How can we do it better? What challenges do we face and how can we innovate?
Explore these questions and more at the State History Conference, Hearts and Minds: Revaluing the Past. The multi-day event runs from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 October. Our Friday program will present a variety of workshops and seminar-based sessions around the City centre, whilst the weekend will feature keynote and parallel sessions from the main conference venue at Immanuel College.
