Yixiao Xiang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism Management, School of Management, Shandong University, China. She got her Ph.D. degree of Geography from Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Her research area is tourism planning and management and in particular, examining the sustainability of resources, local residents, visitor experience of the tourism destination. She is currently a visiting professor at University of Adelaide, Australia.
