Tory Shepherd is a senior columnist and The Advertiser's Political Editor and splits her time between Adelaide and Canberra. After an Honours degree in anthropology and a Masters in communication, she was working at an art magazine when she won a cadetship at quite a ripe old age. She covered police, health, and state politics before going national for a few years, working for The Punch and news.com.au. Tory was eventually lured back to The Advertiser by the promise of the Canberra gig.
