Richard Watson strives to improve both the quantity and the quality of thinking inside organisations, especially with regard to thinking about the far future. He is the author of five books and the publisher of nowandnext.com.
With a focus on strategic foresight and scenario planning he has worked with many of Australia’s largest organisations, including Westfield, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, IBM, PwC, Commonwealth Bank and most recently, the NSW Department of Education.
Richard is also Futurist-in-Residence at the Technology Foresight Practice at Imperial College London, an external lecturer at London Business School and a member of Stratforma - a scenario-planning consultancy. Richard’s other interests include old wine and fixing up old cars.
