Rachael’s career spans public sector roles in Adelaide, London and Hanoi.

She’s been described as an intrapreneur, motivated by a desire to innovate public programs to reach wider audiences, be more effective and maximize the return from the investment of public funds.

Rachael’s part of the Strategic Engagement team, in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, where she leads participatory budgeting programs. In 2017 Fund My Community, one of the programs she leads, was recognised by the United Nations.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Flinders University and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
