Coordinator
Anti-Poverty Network SA

Pas Forgione has been Coordinator of Anti-Poverty Network SA since it formed in late 2012. Anti-Poverty Network SA is a grassroots group composed of welfare recipients from across Adelaide who are campaigning for dignity, justice, and respect for those out of work, and living in poverty.

Members, including sole parents, job-seekers, carers, and Age and Disability Pensioners, organise a range of different activities and projects, including public forums, community picnics, rallies, information sessions, individual advocacy and support for those experiencing difficulties with their job agency or disability employment service.

Anti-Poverty Network SA hosts an annual two-day Anti-Poverty Week conference in October that is usually one of the largest and most diverse Anti-Poverty Week events in the country.
