Professor Marianna Sigala

University of South Australia

Marianna Sigala is Professor at the University of South Australia and Director of the Centre for Tourism & Leisure Management. She is best known for her research and publications on Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) in tourism. She currently serves and/or had served at the executive boards of several associations including ICHRIE, EuroCHRIE, CAUTHE and IFITT. In 2016, she was awarded the prestigious EuroCHRIE Presidents’ Award for her lifetime contributions and achievements to tourism and hospitality education.
