Jordi is an expert on cultural policies, development and urban renewal, the CEO of the Pablo Casals Foundation and Founder and partner of NARTEX BARCELONA (Culture, creative economy and development).
He is a member of the selection and monitoring panel for the European Capitals of Culture (2012 -2016). European Commission
Jordi has been involved in major cultural and urban projects in Barcelona and other cities in Europe, Asia and America.
He is co-author of the Media Strategy for the development of the 22@barcelona, the innovation district. He has been director of major cultural institutions in Barcelona, among others, the Center for Contemporary Culture (CCCB), the Barcelona Museum of Design Project.
Member of the pool of Experts of UNESCO on cultural policies and government.
Among other titles, is co-author of “Management and governance for creative cities”, in Creative Cities Perspectives, Sao Paulo, 2009.
