The Mindfulness Initiative
Jamie Bristow is director of The Mindfulness Initiative, a policy institute that grew out of a mindfulness teaching programme for politicians in the UK Parliament, which has so far seen 145 MPs and Members of the House of Lords take part in an eight-week course.
Jamie helped politicians to set up an All-Party Parliamentary Group on Mindfulness and conduct a 12-month inquiry into how mindfulness could be incorporated into British services and institutions, publishing the world’s first policy report on mindfulness,
Mindful Nation UK. He now works with politicians around the world who practice mindfulness and helps them to make capacities of heart and mind serious considerations of public policy.
Jamie was formerly Business Development Director at the world’s leading digital meditation platform, Headspace.
